NATURE LOVES TO HIDE

The phrase "Nature loves to hide" belongs to the ancient Greek philosopher Heraclitus and should not be taken literally. As Heraclitus was a philosopher, by "nature" he perceived a truth, a foundation that constantly eludes, that must be found. Through natural landscapes and details, I suggest thinking about the basic ideas that are hidden in "nature": emptiness and fullness, eternal and temporal, matter and spirit. Those themes have become extremely important for philosophy.
