The concept of beauty was formed in antiquity. It is something "smooth, soft and calm," whereas "rough, rugged and crooked" is ugly. Nonetheless, for a thousand years, the ugliness has drawn artists and society's attention. Numerous "unattractive" works were created in antiquity, the Baroque and Romantic periods, and contemporary art.
I suggest approaching the "Inappropriateness" project as an opportunity to look at "crooked" and "rough" objects from a different angle in order to discover the hidden beauty within them.
